Volume 5
Today, I'm thankful for chili. Tonight is our big church Chili Cookoff and I'm excited. I love making chili. I'm not afraid to say that mine is really good. One of the best things about chili is that there's almost always leftovers. And leftover chili is as good, if not BETTER, than fresh chili. Plus, the fact that I can make chili means that it's fall. And I love fall. It's by far my second favorite season after winter.
So here's to you chili:

We had a chili cookoff at work this week too, and mine, though I didn't think it was great, was by far the best. None of the others had any heat to them at all. So many lackluster and uninspired chilis entered. Just because it has chili powder and beans does not make it good chili.
did june enter her white chili? i love that stuff!

I've been eating chili for the last 5 days straight. Today is the first day I haven't had chili.
